What to prepare, what the setup process looks like, and what usually trips businesses up when connecting Zoho to Peppol.
Zoho e invoicing for InvoiceNow works the same way it does on any other platform: Zoho Books itself does not send invoices across Peppol directly, it needs to be connected to a Peppol Access Point that handles that part of the journey.
Zoho Books connectivity works through a Peppol Access Point, the same way it does for any other accounting platform. Zoho itself does not replace the need for that connection, it needs to be linked to one so your invoices can actually travel across the Peppol network to your customers, and vice versa for invoices coming in.
Zoho is common among businesses that already use other Zoho products for CRM, inventory or operations, and want their invoicing to sit inside that same ecosystem.
The way we approach it, regardless of platform:
None of these are unusual, they are just the kind of thing that is much easier to catch during testing than after go-live.
New voluntary GST registrants must adopt InvoiceNow from 1 April 2026. Existing GST-registered businesses phase in between April 2028 and April 2031, based on turnover. Government grants of S$1,000 to S$5,000 are available to help with onboarding costs, including connecting Zoho.
If you already trust Zoho to run your books, there is no reason InvoiceNow should change that. The goal is to connect it to Peppol properly, once, and move on.
